All of our figure skate sharpening and maintenance services are carried out by hand, professionally, and tailored to the individual needs of each skater. Figure skates should be sharpened regularly to ensure proper grip on the ice. Well-maintained skates last longer, feel more stable on the ice, and are easier to control.<\/p>\n Sharpening interval:<\/strong> typically every 15\u201330 sessions, depending on ice conditions and skating style.<\/p>\n You need sharpening if:<\/p>\n Always have sharpening done by a professional familiar with figure skates and their specific requirements (different from hockey skates!).<\/p>\n This prevents rust and odor.<\/p>\n Do not store skates in hard guards for long periods.<\/p>\n Leather boots can be treated with conditioner.<\/p>\n Our figure skate maintenance service is among the best in the industry.
