We recommend bringing the skater and their skates to our store in person. This allows us to assess the fit, identify the source of the pressure and stretch the boot precisely where needed.
Well-fitting skates support foot health and make training more comfortable. Boots that are too tight can cause pressure and pain, making skating and concentrating on your training more difficult. When your feet have enough room, skating feels more comfortable and training can be more enjoyable.
How Does the Stretching Service Work?
Together, we assess whether stretching is needed, identify the cause of the problem and determine the appropriate adjustments.
Your skate will remain at our workshop overnight to allow the boot to stretch gradually and settle into its new shape. This helps us achieve the best possible and long-lasting result.
The price includes an assessment and width expansion of one figure skate boot in the forefoot area.
