Terms of delivery


Golden Skate Oy, registration number: 0859050-0, address: Aarikkalankatu 36, 33530 Tampere; sells products to companies and individuals of legal age to countries of the European Union. These terms of delivery are applied to your ordering from our web store and to the deliveries as well.

These terms of delivery are valid as from 28.10.2020. We have the right to change these terms of delivery unilaterally from time to time so please go through them each time and before you order from our web store.

Products and prices

The characteristics and the prices of the products in our web store are presented in each product presentation. We reserve the right to change the prices of the products and delivery prices so please check the above amounts in the shopping basket before you accept the order. 
Product prices include VAT 24%, which appears in the shopping cart and order confirmation. Golden Skate is not held accountable for price errors in clear cases, for example if the error was so obvious that the consumer should have understood the existence of the error.

Delivery expenses

The prices of delivery depend on the product itself (for example the weight and packaging) and the method of delivery chosen. Postage costs inside Finland 5,90€ – 15,00 € , will be added automatically to the total amount of your order and you will see the the cost in your shopping basket before you accept your order. For unclaimed shipments, Golden Skate will charge the customer a handling fee of EUR 25.00.

Ordering and contract

You can order products on the website of our online store by transferring them to the shopping cart and confirming the order and paying for the contents of the Shopping Cart in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to read and commit to our current delivery terms. You understand that your order, which you accept and confirm, is (except as set forth below in respect of the right of cancellation) binding and creates an agreement between us with these Terms of Delivery.

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Golden Skate Oy operates as a marketer of products and services and as a supplier of products to the customer. The online store takes care of the statutory and other obligations related to the transaction. If you want to complain or return the product, you should contact Golden Skate Oy directly: info@goldenskate.fi.

Payment methods are Bank charges, Invoice and installment services, Credit card payments and Mobile payments. 

Confirmation of order and payment

After your successful order we will send you an order confirmation to your e-mail, so please make sure that you provide your e-mail address when making your order.  In the order confirmation we also confirm your method of payment. In case that, due to an unexpected circumstance, we cannot accept your order, we’ll inform you promptly.  


We will deliver your order via the delivery method set in our web store chosen by you when ordering.

In letter shipments, we may open the product package and / or arrange the product in different ways so that it meets the conditions set for the method of delivery.

Delivery time

Our typical delivery times to European Union countries are, depending on the order and the method of delivery, 2-7 business days. More specific delivery times are informed in connection with product descriptions.

Right of cancellation and returns

It is very important to us, that your are happy with our products. 


  • The returning time is 14 days.
  • Unfortunately, if more than 14 days have passed since your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange.
  • Please note that if the product is missing a price tag, it cannot be returned. To be eligible for a refund, the product must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. If the original bag tears, you can put it in a plastic bag from the grocery store, for example.
  • If your shipment did not been picked up from the post office and as a result have been returned to us, We will charge for handling costs for undelivered packages (€ 25.00).
  • returned products will only be delivered via Posti.

When you are returning the product:

  • Fill out the return form below.
  • You can send the products back to us using our return code: 673624 return with the contract number.
  • Make the return from here.
  • We charge a return fee (€ 8.90) upon refund.
  • You can also return the product to our store in Tampere. 

Products that are not covered by the return policy:

  • Gift cards
  • Socks, underwear and tights
  • Individually selected skates (skate shoe + blade).


If your refund is approved, the refund policy will proceed with a refund to your credit card or original form of payment within a few days. Please note that it may take a few days for the amount to be refunded. Returns will always be processed as soon as possible when they arrive in us. If the refund for the product does not appear within two weeks, please contact us.

In certain situations, only a partial refund may be granted:

  • If the product is not in it’s original condition, damaged or missing parts for any reason other than our own fault.

Discounted products

Discounted products have the same 14-day right of exchange and return.

Product exchange

In case of an exchange, Golden Skate will bear the cost of the product (textiles and accessories) returned to the customer for the first time. The cost of resizing the skates will be borne by the customer.

When returning a delivered order, include your: name, contact information and order number.

Inspection of the delivery, errors and problems

Please inspect the delivery received promptly upon receipt. If a product is missing or damaged during the transport or if the delivery is otherwise not as you have ordered or if there is a defect in the product, please notify this to our Customer service promptly and at the latest within 14 days so we can agree how to correct the situation. Regarding defects related to products ordered by consumers we adhere to the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection legislation. 


The warranty is conditional on the product being used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations. Golden Skate may be released from warranty liability if the product is damaged due to improper use, accident or other similar circumstance. If the manufacturer or service center later discovers that the breakdown was due to the customer’s negligence, Golden Skate has the right to charge the customer for the repair costs.

The warranty period for skates is 3 months and for blades 1 year.

In complaint situations, we primarily seek to repair the product. If the repair is not successful, the product will be replaced if the complaint is justified. In complaints, we always first consult the manufacturer before accepting the complaint.

Limitation of liability

Golden Skate Oy will not be liable for any direct, indirect or other damage related to or arising from the order, delivery or the product, except to the extent as otherwise stipulated by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law or by the mandatory provisions of other applicable law.  


In case of any dispute regarding your order we wish to settle such primarily with you. So please contact our Customer service in such matters so we can try to settle the question.

If a dispute concerning a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiation between the parties, the consumer can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution.

Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Local Register Offices’ Consumer Advisory Service.

The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution Forum, the ODR Forum (http://ec.europa.eu/odr), brings together all European dispute resolution bodies. The name of the forum derives from the words online dispute resolution (ODR platform). The service is available in all official EU languages.
